General Description

Building a sustainable business poses its own challenges for stakeholders today. International conferences and international community service play a crucial role in the academic environment to create a platform that allows for the exchange of knowledge, networking, and cross-border collaboration. Through these conferences, academics and stakeholders can discuss current topics relevant to their respective fields. Meanwhile, community service aligned with international conferences aims to apply acquired knowledge practically to enhance social welfare and sustainable development, including environmental preservation.

In line, one component of the “Unggul” accreditation assessment is the participation of students from the Student Body as presenters at international seminars or conferences. Furthermore, students have the opportunity to achieve recognition and gain experience in academic activities at the international level, ultimately aiming to publish their research in journals with high standards. Journal publication is practically expected to provide solutions to various problems, provide a basis for public policy development, enhance professional practices, improve service quality, and strengthen the local community. Based on this foundation, the Faculty of Economics and Business UNJANI is organizing the International Conference titled “EconoBiz Summit: Building a Future Sustainable Business.” This conference is jointly organized by the International Conference on Sustainable Economy and Business Practice (ICS-EBP).

In addition to organizing an international conference, the Faculty of Economics and Business UNJANI also conducts community service. Amidst the natural beauty, the Lembaga Masyarakat Desa Hutan (LMDH) in Curug Layung faces challenges that require them to maintain independent management of the forest area. Confronted with this reality, the LMDH community in Curug Layung requires support in developing organizational capacity and human resources. A community service program focusing on enhancing managerial knowledge and skills, as well as establishing effective organizations, will greatly assist them in managing the forest area independently and sustainably. Based on this foundation, the Faculty of Economics and Business at UNJANI organizes community service with the theme “Curug Layung Community: Fostering Social Responsibility for a Sustainable Future”.
